| For Mac OS X a wURLdBook dockling is now available to allow quick access to your wURLdBook web content. You can search your content, resolve your favorite aliases and do Google searches too. You can now be notified to changes to your active content dossier news feeds. The number of unread items will be displayed on the dock icon and when a change occurs a sound will play and the icon updated. You can then pick the dossier to go to from a menu.
wURLdBookDock can be configured to store your most used aliases and wURLdBook searches for quick and easy access. It also allows you to initiate arbitrary searches and alias resolutions and remembers them for quick access later. |

Pick the Active Content Dossier to View ![]() Several Display Options ![]() Configuring wURLdBookDock ![]() Easily Add Your Favorite Alias Or Searches To wURLdBookDock To add an new menu item to wURLdBookDock press the "Add" button. A new litle window will appear in which to add the alias or keywork search and a title that is used to display in the dock menu list. Remember, if you want to search your wURLdBook content always prepend a colon (:) to the keywords. This will search your wURLdBook: Personal Internet Intelligence content for those keywords and display the results in your default web browser. The example shows the creation of a wURLdBook content search. ![]() Arbitrary wURLdBook Searches You can perform arbitrary wURLdBook searches, resolve aliases or even search Google. Simply selecting the "Search wURLdBook..." menu item will display the search window. In there you enter your desired keywords or alias to be resolved. By checking the check box you will be initiating a Google search for the keywords entered into the textfield. These search terms will be displayed in the menu items list of wURLdBookDock temporarily until the application is restarted. This way if you want to redo a search you don't have to open the search window the search will be available from the menu list. ![]() |
