Basic Search Tour

The image demonstrates after a search there is one result for search terms ["brain diseases" and Parkinson's]. The title of the page contains the search terms. The result is a web reference that has more meta information to show because there is a link to [show all] which the cursor is over. Once clicked on, all the meta information associated with the web reference is shown. Notice the title of the page changes to "Inspecting WebReference". Also note that the search terms are all highlighted and separated by different colors too.

Another interesting aspect of this is that the search was initiated in the "Medical Research" dossier. You can tell this because the navigation trail (just below the search text field) displays the context of the search. The context is never forgotten so you can always return to where you were quite easily. Just clicking on the dossier's title in the navigation trail will return you to the dossier from which the search was conducted.

If you wanted to you could also go directly to the dossier that contains the web reference shown. In the same line as the [show all] the first item is the title of the dossier. Clicking on that will take you directly to the dossier and show you exactly where the web reference is within that dossier so you don't have to do any additional scanning.

Incidentally, the meta information that you are looking at is the result of copying and pasting the complete story from the Guardian after going to the printer friendly version. This way I will always have a searchable copy of the story for research purposes and a reference to where the story was originally from regardless if the web reference will go stale in the future or if it becomes necessary to pay for the story later.
