Sub-Dossier Tour

This is a close up of the "News Sites" dossier sub-dossiers and their contents as seen on the previous page described in item one (pay attention). This dossier contains quite a few sub-dossiers which happen to all contain active content, i.e. all dossiers also subscribe to some form of RSS feed. Just to mention it again, dossiers can contain a mixture of active content, web references, sub-dossiers, and related dossiers.

The interesting part of this is that you can group your active content dossiers any way you want to then quickly scan their headlines by hovering over them. If you see something interesting you can quickly go into the sub-dossier. Once there you can jump to any other sub-dossier via pop up button that is provided at the bottom of the active dossier page. Nice.

Notice when the "New York Times" dossier is hovered over. The list is the titles of the dossier's sub-dossiers that have new unread items and their corresponding number of unread items. The feed icons show up only when there is unread items. Just to mention, some of the sub-dossiers don't have icons even thought they have unread items as indicated by the number. Well, that's because the site doesn't have an icon. Continue....
